D6 Night Market (Mira Mesa)

D6 Night Market (Mira Mesa)

I got a chance to go to the D6 Night Market in Mira Mesa a few weekends ago held at Mira Mesa Community Park. If there is one thing I learned about these events it’s come early if you don’t like to wait in long lines and potentially miss out on some things that may sell out. This particular night market is named after San Diego’s City Council District 6, which includes Clairemont, Kearny Mesa, MCAS Miramar, Mira Mesa, Rancho Peñasquitos-Park Village, and Sorrento Valley.

Greengo Grilled Cheese Gastro Truck

Greengo Grilled Cheese Gastro Truck

The Green Go Grilled Cheese Gastro Truck has been coming every week outside work for a while now and we never ventured in that direction until now.  But lucky us, Michael and I couldn’t think of what to get one day and low and behold they were awaiting our arrival.

The Dog Shack’s Brat”WORST”

The Dog Shack’s Brat”WORST”

So, Darren and I decided to grab a quick bite because we were super busy in our office. We look across the street, and we see The Dog Shack parked along our main street, Rio San Diego Drive. We had already planned on going somewhere else quick (Taco Bell), but we were intrigued by the unassuming truck and thought we’d give it a try.

The first odd thing was that we were the only ones here at the truck. “Oh well, maybe they just pulled up,” I reasoned. I inspected their menu and things looked pretty decent.…
