We got a chance to attend the event ourselves which we’ve never been to before. There were many restaurants we’ve dined at in the past, but some of them we haven’t gotten a chance to try yet. Events events events! There are a ton of things going on in San Diego this time of year. We got invited to attend The Wedge in Escondido which focuses on local eats, cheese, beer, and wine. There are going to be 25+ cheese and food vendors and 15+ beer and wine vendors for your eating and drinking pleasure. Since we’ve never been to this one before and don’t get a chance to head up to that area often, we figured this would be a good opportunity!

Last Saturday we got a chance to attend the second annual San Diego Night Market off of Convoy and Engineer Road. About a year ago they held their first event in the Zion Market parking lot next to MIT Express off of Clairemont Mesa Blvd. It was a very tight space, with little parking so we were interested to see how this years event would pan out given the new location.
We were able to park really close by because we came when the market opened at 4:00pm. Last year we made the mistake of coming right in the middle around 6:30pm and it took us a good twenty minutes to find parking.…Read more
What an interesting event we attended last night. Chef Marcela and the California Table Grape Commission hosted a culinary demo featuring… GRAPES! The evening started with two signature cocktails – 1. Rosemary Grape Martinis and 2. Black Grape Margaritas.
The demo was hosted a top the beautiful Hotel Palomar in San Diego where we enjoyed a fantastic view of our finest city in America.
The featured demo of the evening was Grilled Salmon Tacos with Grape Pico de Gallo.
The grapes were a simple, but perfect addition to the taco. …Read more
