What an interesting event we attended last night. Chef Marcela and the California Table Grape Commission hosted a culinary demo featuring… GRAPES! The evening started with two signature cocktails – 1. Rosemary Grape Martinis and 2. Black Grape Margaritas.
The demo was hosted a top the beautiful Hotel Palomar in San Diego where we enjoyed a fantastic view of our finest city in America.
The featured demo of the evening was Grilled Salmon Tacos with Grape Pico de Gallo.
The grapes were a simple, but perfect addition to the taco. It’s a wonder that more people haven’t tried this out before.
Also served as a delicious Black Grape and Shrimp Skewer which was my favorite of the night.
Followed by Mediterranean Grilled Chicken and Grape Skewers.
