FREE McDonald’s GIVEAWAY and New Chef Creations

So we’ve got a special free McDonald’s GIVEAWAY at the end of this post.

I’ll be honest.  I typically go to McDonald’s for a only a few things… an egg mcmuffin, chicken nuggets, happy meals, fries, or a mocha frappe.  What you won’t typically see me getting is a burger here.

So, I was intrigued when McDonald’s invited us to taste their new Chef Crafted sandwiches.

You simply start with a meat (chicken or burger), choose your bun, and layer in 1 of 3 flavor choices.

I decided to try two sandwiches.  One chicken, and one burger.

My first sandwich was a Maple Bacon Dijon Burger with the artisan roll.

I was happily surprised to find ample chunks of bacon layered underneath.  The lettuce was also fresh.

The burger meat itself was just okay, but the grilled onions and dijon sauce really helped to kick it up a couple levels.  I really enjoyed the balance of the burger.

The next sandwich I tried was the Buffalo Bacon Chicken on a sesame seed bun.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the shredded lettuce, but really liked the fresh tomato and bacon again.  The sauce was a bit tangy which gave it a little extra depth to it.

The chicken itself was actually very moist and flavorful.  Overall I really enjoyed it.

If I had to do the sandwiches all over again, I would get a Maple Bacon Dijon Chicken Sandwich on Artisan Roll.  I think that would be the ultimate combination of flavors for me at least.

While I was at it, I had to get some fries!

And topped it off with a Mocha Frappe. 🙂

(Yes, I did exercise later this day…hehe)
