Earlier last month, Albert and I checked out the latest San Diego Poke spot to pop up.
The Poke Co. is located in Mission Valley in same mall as O’s American Grill and Jersey Mike’s.
In addition to poke, they also have a nice selection of tropical smoothie drinks and even boba!
I’m contemplating my proteins here…
It’s interesting to see tofu pop up lately. So, I had to try it.
The tuna had a nice red color to it. I was also excited to try their spicy salmon!
Lots of topping AND avocado is included!! They have a lot of great sauces to try and you can mix and match to your heart’s content.
No touching your poke here, they shake it up and pour it back into your bowl with finesse.

And, Mr. Albert even ordered up some tako (octopus)!
Their bowls are nice and simple and easy to decipher who’s is who’s if you’re taking out to go.
There is even a sauce bar one the side where you can get more and try other ones you may have been curious about.

Here’s Mr. Albert’s Mango smoothie with boba.
He liked it a lot which is saying something because he doesn’t even like boba that much. Apparently, they had a nice texture and weren’t too sweet or too bland.
This is my coconut/pineapple smoothie which was divine! I’d definitely order this again for a special treat.
So, there you have it San Diego, another great poke option to choose from.
Poke Co. had really fresh fish, nice portions, FREE avocado, and excellent sauces. We’ll be back!

That’s good to know the smoothie’s aren’t too sweet. The one’s I get tend to be too sweet.
